Diran Productions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a young and talented Non Linear Editor (NLE) / Video Editor and Animator for our production house in Islamabad, Pakistan. As a lead Video Editor and Animator, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film, video footage, audio, and motion graphics applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, video or animated projects that accurately reflect the vision of the director.

The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of modern video editing and animation techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and work according to a strict time schedule. Ultimately, the Video Editor and Animator should be able to perfectly translate an idea into a beautifully crafted film, video or an animation that is worthy of broadcasting.

Responsibilities:

• Design storyboards at initial stages of projects for film and animations based on scripts.
• Manipulate film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
• Manage and oversee the technical aspects of video recording and editing.
• Create 2D / 3D animations from models, drawings and illustrations.
• Collaborate with creative team to understand client needs
• Use artistic techniques to tell a story in visual form.
• Create high-quality motion graphics by utilizing textual and visual data.
• Develop an overall video and animation brand messaging strategy
• Research industry trends and developments and learning new applications.
• Ensure final product aligns with the needs of the client and is delivered on time within the budget
